Welcome to Nechako Valley Inn!

We are a newly renovated hotel located in Vanderhoof, British Columbia. Our hotel offers 32 large rooms with some of them featuring kitchenettes. We provide our guests with a range of amenities to make their stay as comfortable as possible. These include housekeeping, coin-up laundry, free parking, free Wi-Fi, all smart T.V’s in the room and free coffee.

Our hotel has a rich history dating back to the early days of Vanderhoof. The Vanderhoof Hotel, which was said to have been constructed by the late John Ruttan, stands as a testament to the town’s pioneering spirit. Ruttan was a chief founder and pioneer of the area, having operated sawmills in both Fraser Lake and Vanderhoof. He even drove the first automobile ever seen in the region. In addition to the Vanderhoof Hotel, Ruttan also built the Board of Trade Hall.

Under new management since June of 2022, we have a team of friendly and dedicated staff who are always happy to assist our guests. Our goal is to provide a warm and inviting atmosphere that feels like home.

At Nechako Valley Inn, we believe in the importance of community and strive to support our local businesses and organizations. We are committed to providing our guests with an exceptional experience and look forward to welcoming you to our hotel.

At Nechako Valley Inn, we’re proud to be a part of the Vanderhoof community. We believe in supporting local businesses and organizations, and strive to give back whenever we can. We’re also committed to sustainability, and are constantly exploring new ways to reduce our environmental impact.
